Did we mention that Theraguns are noisemakers? Well, Theragun PRO is the number one noisemaker. Elite is quieter. The M3 Pro has a stroke length of 12mm, which is standard for percussive massagers. We’ve tested massage guns with stroke lengths between 12mm-16mm and found that the performance is similar (as low as 10mm for the truMedic truRelief massage gun). Speed Settings On the other hand, the M3 Pro is a great personal device. It’s a great gun with solid performance features and its own. It’s also significantly cheaper even though it comes from a trusted brand. Opove may not get points from us for being innovative with this device, but they get more than a nod from us for a solid execution of a proven concept. In our testing, we didn’t like the ergonomics that much, but we loved how quiet and intuitive it was.

Our tester loved that the device was lightweight and compact but still delivered powerful percussive therapy that helped to relieve sore and tight muscles. Well, we believe Hypervolts don’t have anything unique to offer the 2023 market. The app and bluetooth is all they have and that is pretty much it.

It’s a durable device. We’ve had our unit for almost two years now. We use it daily and sometimes extensively. It still looks new. The battery is still as strong as new; it’s a Samsung branded battery, and that’s probably why. We charge the battery once every 7-10 days. Ekrin B37 is hushed. We measured only about 61 dB at the top speed (it won’t disturb a conversation). Achedaway Pro comes well-equipped, with 4 nicely varied attachments. Two are metallic ones – real metal, not a cheap imitation. There is a soft attachment included here as well. You will need it for delicate areas. There is also a carrying case included. Again, this is where quality matters. A cheap massage gun may have a brushless motor made with cheap quality materials. Expensive guns tend to have a better build quality and use better parts. All massage guns are not created equal. We pay close attention to the quality of materials used in each device.That is it for our first-hand Opove M3 Pro review. Based on our experience with all Opove massage guns to date, Opove have always been inspired by Hypervolt. And this new device goes after the new Hypervolt Plus and the newer 2 Pro and does it so well and at an affordable price. One thing we like about Achedaway’s top gun is how they stay true to the advertised specs (most aspects aren’t overstated). After completing over 70 massage gun tests in our lab, we know one thing: we recommend that you stay away from devices that stall easily. This is because such devices will slow down considerably even when very minimal pressure is applied. But the stall force isn’t just strong at the highest speed setting. The lower gears have more power than most other guns we have tested. For instance, the first speed has nearly 30lbs. Many guns don’t even do that for their top speed!
The only component our tester found inconvenient was the massage gun’s shutdown process. There’s one button on the device: You press it once to turn on and four more times to get to the maximum speed level. But instead of pressing the button once more to shut it off, you have to hold it down for a few seconds—which our tester found frustrating. The Previous M3 Pro had only about 30lbs. stall force. The successor has 40-45 lbs. which is a huge improvement.The M3 Pro uses quality materials that are appropriate for the price point. While it doesn’t have the same high-end feel as a Theragun, it is also far more affordable. The product feels like it is built to last and we were happy with the quality. Amplitude/Depth That’s really all there is to it. The operation is simple and straightforward. It’s a well designed, durable, simple piece of gear for getting the job done. Performance They are not as robust as the high amplitude devices, but they can still do what they are intended for. However, they may not be as effective when you want a deep tissue massage – if you have ever tried one, you know what this means. Such massage guns tend to feel more penetrative. The deep hits provide the intensity needed for percussive therapy. It has great ergonomics even though it’s large. The arm moves in two positions for a better reach – it works great.
