About this deal
My review is largely unchanged; I do not feel that Too Faced took notes or went back and reformulated anything within the palette. We recommend signing up to take advantage of personalized features like tracking products you own, viewing dupes that you already have, and more! Some of the shades are too dusty (Peaches 'n Cream), some too sheer (Candied Peach), some are a bit of a dud (Delectable) and who needs that many browns in a peach-themed palette, anyway?
The most noticeable differences were the texture of White Peach, was significantly silkier and more pigmented as a result, and Just Peachy and Bellini had stronger, pink bases (particularly with Just Peachy) – but this can often be the result of how the shimmer (which are warmer in both instances) gets mixed in or caught by the light. Delectable is a medium-dark plum with warm undertones and flecks of micro-sparkle over a matte finish. The texture of all three shades was firmer and denser but not really stiff--they are in the vein of MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinishes, NARS Dual-Intensity Blushes, etc. It had great pigmentation with a soft, blendable, and smooth texture that was easy to work with and apply to skin.
It had a drier, dustier texture that was harder to work with over bare skin, as it would adhere unevenly and be difficult to blend or diffuse, so it always looked patchy.
I absolutely love this palette, the variety of colors are nice and all the shades are right up my alley. Chocolate is an antioxidant so ok, they were stretching it once they used cocoa in eyeshadow palettes instead of just bronzers but it was in bounds. It was blendable on the lid, but it was prone to sheering out a bit as it was softer and thinner overall. It seemed greener initially, but it had a tendency to fade/mute within a few minutes and ended up looking the same after that compared to the original release. The color scheme with abundance of shimmers makes every eye look you create appear a bit daintier and feminine- even a black smokey eye looks less harsh and edgy when using Sweet Peach because of the little specks of gold in Tempting. While I truly feel sad for those who have been anxiously awaiting and wanting this palette, I also feel a weird sense of relief. Talc, Mica, Ethylene/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, PTFE, Zinc Stearate, Sodium Saccharin, Water/Aqua/Eau, Geraniol, Glycerin, Hexyl Cinnamal, Limonene, Linalool, Fragrance/Parfum, Phenoxyethanol, Prunus Persica (Peach) Fruit Extract/Prunus Persica Fruit Extract, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Sorbic Acid. However, this palette is now my absolute favourite thing in my make up bag, because many of the colours are nude with a twist of peach… adding a bit of va va voom to daily make up.
