I currently own fourStila Glitter and Glow Liquid Eyeshadows in the shades; Kitten Karma, Bronzed Bell, Smoldering Satin and Fairy Tail, and so far I’ve only featured the Fairy Tail shade on my blog. On my hand it did brighten but also looked textured. I decided to give it a fair try and tested it out during my normal makeup routine. On my face it did brighten quite a bit more than the original while still doing the work to cover and even out my redness and dark spots. Under makeup it feels just like the original formula in now it interacts with foundation. I used a low to medium coverage foundation to see if the brightening effect could be seen and found that my skin had a nice glow without looking too shimmery, glittery, or textured. I was worried at first but find that I like it just fine as a replacement for the original. Wrap-Up The Glitter and Glow Eyeshadows are part of the Stila Magnificent Metals Collection, and they each have a clear rectangular tube, a gold matte lid and a doefoot applicator. I haven’t read one negative review on these glitter eyeshadows, and whilst they’re not fallout free, the fallout is definitely minimal compared to the fallout you’d get with loose glitters or glitter powder eyeshadows. I don’t often buy make up from Stila. I find the brand quite hard to get a hold of in the UK. I do have one of their Convertable Colour lip and cheek compact in Lilium which I really like though.

I think what makes the Stila Glitter and Glow shadows so unique is that they all have an opaque, coloured base which is then saturated with sparkle so you can wear them alone or layered over other eyeshadow shades. Stila Kitten is a champagne colour with shimmer running through. It’s rather pigmented but it’s neutral enough to get away with wearing it during the day. I believe Stila Kitten also comes in a liquid eyeshadow version, although that runs ever so slightly peachy. Stila Kitten Powder Eyeshadow Review – Summary Stila's Eye Shadow shades are known for their high-quality formula and texture, which can be worn wet or dry. I still love the other three shades, but Fairy Tail can look like a different shade everytime I wear it. If you have Kitten Karma, I don’t think you need Smoldering Satin as they look almost identical once on the lids.

About

I find theStila Glitter and Glow eyeshadows a nightmare to swatch as they’re so multidimensional and sparkly, that photos just don’t do them justice. Kitten Karma is described as being a champagne with silver and copper sparkle, Bronzed Bell a bronze with silver and copper sparkle, Smoldering Satin a deep tan with silver sparkle and Fairy Tail a gunmetal gold with bright lavender pearl. I love Stila Kitten eyeshadow and highlighter so I feel like Kitten Karma should’ve been paler to reflect the original Kitten, and for me Smoldering Satin is more of a taupe than a deep tan. JB108 Nice skin This one step kitten so far I like it it’s easy to use and good it does all what it says on the tin have only used it a couple of times so hopefully it keeps up the good work Nannyninja Good as a base Makes the skin tone more even & glow. It’s also good as a base under make up. I have mentioned the Stila Glitter and Glow Liquid Eyeshadows on my blog many times but I haven’t actually dedicated a whole post to them, so I decided it was time I remedied that. I even featured them as part of my 2017 Beauty Favourites, and I’ve been desperately trying to find a drugstore dupe, so I can’t believe I’ve not done a post on them already. What I particularly like about these eyeshadows is that they can applied directly to the lids with the doefoot applicator for a super intense, glitter effect or you can apply some to your fingertip or brush and dab onto the lids for a more subtle effect so you can control how intense you want the sparkle to be.

SarahBetty Reduces Redness I suffer with a red/rosy complexion. I use this under foundation and it calms the redness & gives a subtle glow. UPDATE: Since the time of this original writing, Stila has also added Medium and Deep shades to the One Step Correct lineup, to better suit the needs of a broader range of skin tones and concerns. One Step Correct Eye Melanie Ann Fresh faced and glowing A little bit more sparkly than I expected, but my skin felt amazingIn a makeup market saturated with primers, it can be hard to know what’s worth your money and which ones are best left on the shelf. This no nonsense Stila One Step Correct review is going to dive into all three formulas. All three are color-correcting and brightening serums designed to help even out and correct skin tone. Read more : Stila One Step Correct Review TheStila Glitter and Glow Liquid Eyeshadows are loved by so many, and it’s easy to see why as they really are amazing and I feel like they were super unique when they first launched and now many brands are trying to copy the formula such as the Pixi Fairy Lights,Barry M Glitter Bomb Shadows and the Lottie London Eye Foils. My favourite shade without a doubt is Fairy Tail as you can really make the purple tone pop by wearing a cool toned shadow underneath, and it’s so so pretty.
