I was surprised by how much I liked this, as I’d never tried a cushion foundation before and didn’t know what to expect.Obviously it’s less than hygienic because I’m not too sure if you would wash the sponge but for now, I love it. I found the applicator puff to be a bit thin and when used to tap my face continuously, it got uncomfortable. And as you can see, the yellow undertone is barely noticeable, but that might be because of the prevalence of red/pink cancelling out the yellow. The best thing about cushion foundations is the way you apply it and this comes with a nice standard puff which is soft and flexible and helps provide a natural, even application. The main difference I have noticed actually shows in the long run – cheaper foundations tend to break out my skin, irritate it and occasionally make it flaky + clog pores.

All you do is tap your applicator on and apply away, coverage can be built up by the amount that you use. But you need to keep in mind that my skin is no longer dry, so it might behave completely different on you.All in all, I think it’s great and if you want light to medium coverage with a healthy glow finish, this is definitely one to try. Only real problem is that you really don't get that much product, and the foundation itself isn't that cheap. I generally mix up some liquid highlighter + two different shades of foundation to get my perfect match, regardless of how pale or tan I am, but that's incompatible with how a cushion foundation is packaged and used.
