What a CrAzY ride! Twists and turns, rival college gangs, initiation like the hunger games into a secret society run by a group of psychopaths. But they have nothing on ‘Killer’ the boy who set his sights on the girl he should’ve left well enough alone.I won’t go into the triggers and all the bad things that Killian does, but to say that there are many. Because if you don’t like reading about this kind of guy, then you shouldn’t be reading Rina Kent books. She writes for those of us that like dark romance, bullies, and anti-hero’s and she makes no bones about it. I for one love them and I haven’t disliked a book of hers that I have read so far.

Audiobook Performance: overall this was a great audio! Even though I love Sebastian, my man cannot do a very good British accent 😅i get that she's supposed to be this uber-feminist icon but she just came across as dumb and impulsive, in a horror movie she would be the first to die.

I will not lie when all the characters were introduced I forgot a bit about our main characters and I had to remind myself that this book is about them. But it's only because I can't wait to read about all new characters, or almost all of them, because not everyone is supposed to have a book. Hopefully Rina will give characters who won't have the book in this series their own stories in another series, like Knox from RES. He is reminiscent of an edgy emo boy who happened to read an article "20 Signs of a Psychopath: Traits & Characteristics - Choosing Therapy" and conformed his behavior to the global standards for psychopaths: all the signs match, but that doesn't make him one. Killian and Glyndon's journey had me hooked from beginning to end! Right from the heart stopping moment these two are brought into each other's lives, i was on the edge of my seat. I couldn't wait to see how everything would play out for them! i may forgive asher, only because killian did but i will never forget. one little sorry and a tear doesn't reverse 12 years of trauma. i blame this entirely on rk because she did the same to adrian in EOH, making adrian on the legal team of a known pedophile. adrian isn't a pedo supporter and asher wouldn't call his own flesh and blood defective, so for my own sanity, i choose to ignore these events ever happened. more sweet Killian. He actually makes an effort, but I would’ve liked to see them as a nice couple a little bit longer (like in an extended epilogue lol). I get it. We’ll get their HEA as the series continues, but I wanted more

I wanted to know more about the relationship between Kill and Asher at the end. I'm happy they worked it out but I really want it to read it. Asher wasn't the best dad, and honestly I understand where he is coming from bc his sister was crazy. But I was upset with Asher, the way he treated Kill. I'm worried about RES as parents bc I'm scared their parenting is not the best, and I know they care for their kids and they can make mistakes but it pains me. I was in pain with the whole Kill/Asher/Rei/Gareth thing. The ending got a bit convoluted with family POVs and some drama that I'm sure is just the beginning for this series. I wish more time had been focused on setting up that part of the story and less on getting to know all the friends, but overall I'm invested and I find myself wrapped up in yet another series. eli... i love my unbothered king, he only cares about his family and ava. the way he immediately called brandon over when creigh came to 'help' landon beat up killian because he was pissed lan invited creigh... the way eli's eyes always found ava FIRST no matter what room they are in... the way i know eli is the 5th heathen aka mr white mask... it's what EYE DESERVE.
