About this deal

If cutting, shaping and dipping peanut butter Christmas Trees is not your cup of tea, you might also consider making Christmas trees from already made Reese’s peanut butter cups. These are great for young children to make and still provide the same delicious chocolate covered peanut butter flavors. Homemade gifts are my favorite! There’s nothing more personalized and loving than a thoughtful handmade gift. Make the holidays sweeter with homemade Reese's Christmas Trees. Filled with peanut butter, covered in chocolate, and decorated with sprinkles, these candy trees are perfect for sharing. Jump to: And now for the fun part – Decorating it! You’ll have to excuse my messy lines below. I was busy taking photographs and I didn’t notice how crooked everything was until it was too late. The sprinkles pretty much hid the crooked lines, but it does look a bit messy below. Oops!

Peanut butter tends to get gooey when it’s handled. Keeping it chilled to prevent it from becoming quite messy. To keep the Reese's peanut butter trees from getting too soft while dipping, only take a few out of the refrigerator at a time. They dip best when cold.

Cut each line diagonally into 7-8 triangles. Place on a tray and refrigerate while you get the chocolate ready. Dip in Chocolate Slowly add the powdered sugar and mix until a soft pliable dough forms. Use a spatula to scrape the sides of the bowl often. Besides your favorite sprinkles, you only need a few ingredients to make these pretty peanut butter Christmas trees.Place another upside down mini peanut butter cup on top, and then top it with a Hershey’s kiss. It amazed me that the sizes formed a perfect little tree! To keep this product in perfect condition store in a cool and dry place (13°C-18°C) and consume before the date given.

The first is by using a Christmas tree shaped cookie cutter. And the second is by using silicon Christmas tree molds. We chose to use the cookie cutter method, but you can choose whatever method you prefer. If you don’t have a tree-shaped cookie cutter, another option is to use silicone molds. The silicone pan can be bent to remove the peanut butter trees more easily. Unwrap one of the mini peanut butter cups and place it upside down. Add a generous amount of icing (more than I’m showing in the photos), and then press a Halloween sized Reese peanut butter cup upside down on top of it. I think the Halloween sized ones are slightly smaller than the regular ones, so they fit really nicely without a size gap. There’s nothing more personalized and made with love than handmade gift giving. Reese’s Peanut Butter Christmas Trees are perfect for the occasion. Just wrap them in plastic wrap and tie them with a ribbon.
